Pop Up Creative launched the shop with a big bang simultaneously to the Christmas light switch- on. The shop paid tribute to the Rolling Stones as a band and complimented their online channel effortlessly; it also provided an exclusive point of purchase for tour merchandise away from the Rolling Stones sell-out concerts in London. The pop up shop showcased a huge range of new and exclusive products, ranging from t-shirts and sweatshirts to premium album box sets and high end branded box sets which were sold at the launch. Collections found in store included the 50th Anniversary range, the ‘GRRR!’ range, the Archive collections and exclusive apparel from the upcoming tour. The pop up installation also exhibited renowned Rolling Stones photographer Michael Putland’s work for attendees to admire. The store was designed to attract all ages and honour one of Britain’s most iconic bands. To build a closer bond between the retail unit and the Rolling Stones ‘super fans/loyalists’, Pop Up Creative created an in-store customer experience by selecting the Rolling Stones Retail Team on image, personality, experience, reliability and most of all, their uncanny ability to connect with the target audience. This was indeed another historical moment for the iconic band, as it drew in over 24,000 visitors and was a magnet for consumers.
